Koh Phi Phi Longtail Boat Tour
Thailand was the first country that we visited on our world trip! Clay also studied abroad here, so Thailand has a special place in our hearts. We were there during October, the beginning of the rainy season, but we lucked out and had great weather. We spent most of our time in Bangkok and island hopping in the south.
Our original plan included a week in the north visiting Chiang Mai and Pai, but that region was experiencing historic flooding. We decided to skip it and spend more time down south, but (spoiler alert) we’ll be heading back to visit Chiang Mai for Christmas! Because of this, you’ll notice that we spent a good bit of time in each area. You can definitely do this route faster than we did, but we really enjoyed taking it slow and really experiencing the culture of each location.
